As such he is one of the entertainment industry’s most prolific talents, wearing the hats of a music producer, music supervisor, composer, songwriter and screenwriter having collaborated on some of the biggest films in Hollywood.

Among the many projects for which he’s created and compiled hit soundtracks, Ralph has worked on such groundbreaking films as Three Kings and Speed and has also been responsible for the music in some of the most successful films in the “teen” genre: 10 Things I Hate About You, Can’t Hardly Wait and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.  Ralph has also written and produced songs for films such as Clueless (which included the smash hit ‘Rollin’ With My Homies’, co-written with Coolio) and the Scooby Doo track ‘Words To Me’, co-written with Sugar Ray.

As the film’s composer and executive music producer, Ralph wrote the majority of the music and performed the songs under his name, as well as All Too Much, Interstellar Force and The Ralph Sall Experience on Andrew Fleming’s Hamlet 2. He also produced and rearranged such classics as ‘Maniac’ from Flashdance and Elton John’s ‘Someone Saved My Life Tonight’.  His original composition ‘Rock Me Sexy Jesus’ - which he co-wrote with the screenwriters - is already receiving buzz as a possible Oscar® contender for Best Original Song. Hamlet 2 caused a frenzy at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival, resulting in a bidding war that culminated with it becoming the second highest-selling film in the festival’s history.

In addition to Hamlet 2, Ralph has also successfully collaborated with Fleming on the films Nancy Drew, Dick, Threesome and The Craft.  He is also a score composer, having written the music for Sony’s The New Guy and Warners’ Grind. Among Ralph’s many produced credits in the area of television are selected songs and soundtracks for Weeds, King of the Hill and Charmed, to name a few.

The tribute album, with a collection of artists covering legendary works, is a genre Ralph virtually invented with ‘Deadicated’, an album featuring the songs of the Grateful Dead, and which he produced. He went on to create the triple-platinum selling ‘Common Thread: The Songs of the Eagles’, ‘Stoned Immaculate: The Music of the Doors’, and the Gold-certified ‘Saturday Morning Cartoons’ Greatest Hits’. He is currently working on several other tribute projects.

A highly successful record producer who has recorded with musicians of almost every genre, Ralph has produced tracks with such renowned artists as: Paul McCartney, Stone Temple Pilots, Sugar Ray, Smash Mouth, Aerosmith, Creed, Jane’s Addiction, Cheap Trick, Sublime, Jewel, and The Ramones.  In the urban field, Ralph has produced and written tracks for Mystikal, George Clinton and Parliament-Funkadelic, Juvenile, R. Kelly and Brian McKnight. He has also worked with country superstars Willie Nelson, Brooks & Dunn, Travis Tritt and Trace Adkins.  An accomplished songwriter, Ralph has written tracks for such diverse artists as Jewel, Sugar Ray, George Clinton and Liz Phair.

The Ralph Sall Experience performs ‘Rock Me Sexy Jesus’ and ‘You’re As Gay As The Day Is Long’ as well as new versions of ‘Maniac’ and ‘Someone Saved My Life Tonight’ in Hamlet 2. In early fall, The Ralph Sall Experience is planning to embark on a cross-country tour, performing songs from Hamlet 2.

His other group, All Too Much, has a soon-to-be released album. Songs by All Too Much have been featured in the films or soundtracks to Failure to Launch, The In-Laws and License To Wed as well as many others. Finally, Ralph’s dance music project, Interstellar Force, charted a Billboard hit with their version of the Star Wars Theme.

A feature film screenwriter, Ralph wrote the screenplay for the Warner Brothers feature Grind, for which he also put together the soundtrack and released through his Bulletproof label, home to many successful soundtrack releases including Mean Girls, Mad Hot Ballroom, Sahara, Jackass Number Two, Barnyard, Charlotte’s Web and many others including the upcoming Hamlet 2 soundtrack.

Ralph is the president of Bulletproof Entertainment, a company involved in just about every facet of the entertainment industry. This includes film and television – currently in pre-production on an upcoming project with Jeff Garlin (WALL-E, Curb Your Enthusiasm) - comic books and graphic novels, music, internet and live theatre. He is also putting the finishing touches on his book, 1001 Playlists: The Soundtrack of Your Life.
